Comment mode on Devellp

Comment mode is a great way to collaborate during website prototyping. It allows to leave comments for specific parts of the website and respond to each of them in a thread. The best part is that your teammates and clients don't need a Devellp account to use comment mode.

Important to note:

Even if you connected a domain to your Devellp account, the comment mode will contain https://app.devellp.com/ in the URL. This is because the comment mode is a part of the editor, and for now, we can't change the link there.

At this point, you can't receive notifications about new comments.

You can't attach an image or a file to the comment.

Access the editor of the needed prototype on Devellp, click on the Share icon on the upper toolbar:

Note: you can share only published prototypes.

Select the Comments tab and copy the following link to your clipboard:

Done! Send this link to your clients or colleagues to gather their feedback.

Important note that only the link that you have copied from the Share tab will be accessible. The link that you have copied from your browser tab won't work.

This is where you can check and reply to the available comments.

Access the editor of the needed prototype on Devellp, click on the three dots on the upper toolbar and select Comment mode:

Reply, delete and resolve the available comments. You can also add the general commend to the whole site — for example, to describe the whole concept, etc.

Important you, as the owner, will have a different link to the comment mode than your clients. If you'd like to share access to the comment mode, make sure to copy the link as described in the section Sending a link to the comment mode.
