Global blocks — header and footer
Global header and footer allow you to create convenient site navigation, add your logo, social networks just once, but apply the settings across all site pages.
All global blocks are marked with a yellow icon in the top right corner:
There're two ways of making your header or footer global.
Note: there is currently no way to convert the global block back to a non-global one. You can either hide this block on certain pages, or remove it completely and add it again as a regular block. It's also impossible to duplicate such a block or copy it to other pages.
To begin with, select a footer or header from the block gallery.
Then, click on it and choose the option Add to all pages in the pop-up window:
Note: a confirmation window will pop up only if the site doesn't have a header or footer yet.
Firstly, click on the three dots in the top right corner of the block:
Select the option Global block in the drop-down menu:
Publish your site once you've done all the changes.
